Accommodations
The Trophy Bass
Retreat offers an eclectic variety of attractive and
comfortable accommodations, including the cozy
Presidents cabin where both Bush presidents have
stayed, the spacious boat house suite with a bird’s
eye view of the Presidents lake and a generous
bedroom and bath suite in the guest wing of the main
house just down the hall from the handsome Great
Room and the lakeside verandas.
Meals are taken
in the family dining room in informal buffet style,
including breakfast, lunch and dinner. We’ll
be offering up tasty and hearty dining with an
emphasis on distinctly southern fare.
You are invited
to enjoy the property, whether you want to take a
dip in the intimate pool in the warm months or jog
the beautiful driveway – a two- mile road through
moss-draped trees where you’re likely to cross paths
with the whitetail deer that enjoy a lakeside drink.
Or choose to relax in the veranda rocking chairs and
watch the blue herons do some fishing of their own.
